Qeej - Hmong instrument

We are privilege to have professional qeej masters teaching our youths our qeej instruments. These qeej masters bring with them numerous years of Qeej experiences that were taught to them by their Qeej masters - generations to generations - and they are here to share their knowledge and skills with our youths.

The qeej plays a critical role in some part of our culture and without people with knowledge of playing the qeej, some of our most important rituals and custom cannot proceed.

It is best to start learning the qeej at a young age as it takes many years to become a master qeej. Today, we are teaching youths to become the next generation qeej masters.
